Fall 2013 NEFDC Conference

The Interactive Classroom:
Collaboration and Learning in Higher Education.

The keynote speaker for the conference is Dr. Eric Mazur (Balkanski Professor of Physics and Applied Physics at Harvard University and Area Dean of Applied Physics), who will discuss his Peer Instruction method for teaching large lecture classes interactively. Dr. Mazur's teaching method has developed a large following, both nationally and internationally, and has been adopted across many science disciplines.

A block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted rate for conference attendees on Thursday, November 14, 2013.  The NEFDC group rate is $109 + tax.  Reservations must be made by October 22nd to ensure the conference rate.
